My Question or Issue

So when i am in my library and i click play on my playlist it does not take into consideration how my playlist is filtered and it plays me the first ever music i put into the playlist (wich is track #516 in the playlist) i always start with the last music added (track #1) but i always need to make 2 more clic to get the good music goin its like that in my cars on my cellphone on my pc everywhere i think its an error and should be corrected unless you guys got a fix for it. I've put 2 picture for reference to showcase what play button i am mentionning you can see the big one start track #1 and when i click direct into my library it start track #516 but it should play track #1... Thank you!

Hey @etitan,

Thanks for reaching out via the Community and for the screenshots!

If you've sorted the playlist by Recently added and have also set the date added correctly to show the latest song that you've added to the playlist, as shown that Shuffle is also disabled, Spotify should start playback from this song which appears on top of the playlist (in your case the song "Soft Spine").

Because you've mentioned that this "reverse" playback is happening across devices, could you let us know if you've performed any troubleshooting steps so far?

I recommend a clean reinstall across devices as it often helps resolve different performance issues, but keep in mind that you'd have to re-download the tracks for offline listening again afterwards.

On another note, let us know if this happens only with a specific playlist or multiple ones and if the same behavior continues when you no longer have downloaded content.

Keep us posted.
