Unable to play newly added music by Turkish artists

Unable to play newly added music by Turkish artists

Hi, 

Recently in my liked list music created by Turkish Artists won't play. They appear in my liked songs and playlists as usual, but when I click on them to play them, the music bar goes blank, the time doesn't show and album covers don't show up. Music from every other countries plays normally.

This tends to be newly added music too, as some Turkish songs/artists I added a couple Months ago allow me to play, while newer songs just added to my liked list will not. (even if the songs are by the same artist the older will play while newer won't) 

 

I'll insert an image of what my Spotify looks like, one with a Turkish artist and a British Artist, to show the difference. 


Does anyone know what is causing this?

Hey there @From_1995_,

Thanks for posting on the Community!

Just to confirm, does this only happen on the desktop app? Are you able to play the tracks on any other devices that you use Spotify on?

It's also worth double-checking that the artist(s) in question are allowed to play. You can check this on the phone app, just open the artist profile > click the 3 dots > Allow to play this artist.

Should you still not be able to play the tracks, could you ask a friend or family member to play songs from the same artists as you, using their own Spotify account, to see if it works for them?

Hi, thanks Maria, sorry for the late reply, it was only on desk top after trying my phone it worked. 

Then luckily after a couple of days it started working on my desk top. It was really weird but the problem fixed itself.
