My Question or Issue

Does Spotify have any built in visualization feature? I was reading articles on "things most people don't know about (xxx-xxxxx)" and I came across Spotify so I decided to read through the article to see if there were any hacks that I don't know about. I did come upon some really interesting things but the one I'm most curious about here is that the article said if we typed "visualization" or some form of that word possibly with other words or characters into the search box that a visualization menu would become available in the main window. I tried a couple of times with no result so I'm guessing it's either BS or another cool feature that the geniuses at Spotify removed, probably because it was cool. Anyone have any input on this?

Hey there @Dell_Ray

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

We can confirm that there're no visuals at the moment in the app.

If this is something you'd like, you can consider adding your +VOTE to this idea. The Idea Exchange is a great way for us to see what our users are interested in and how many people like a certain idea.

Hope this info is useful. We'll be here if you need help with anything else.

Yeah, and I know where that will get me. No offense meant to anyone in particular and especially none of you here because I know you're all just trying to help others. And even though I do appreciate that even though it may not seem that way, I am still just really disappointed and at times very irritated to put it mildly, that Spotify has no regard for what users wish to have. I've read through a lot of the content in the ideas and users comments, requests, and concerns in various conversations and what people are asking for are common and basic functions that should be included with the app from the start and some that used to be and have been removed. And a lot of the responses are downright nasty and condescending on top of basically saying eff you to the request or idea. It bothers me to no end to belong to a service of any kind, music oriented or otherwise, that is so disconnected from its users. I have yet to find one more suitable so far but I am watching several others and hoping that this will change soon. There are a couple with comparable content volumes but the UIs aren't quite there and there are a few with awesome UIs but the content selection isn't quite there yet. I realize that it's almost impossible to find a service that can meet everyone's needs but it's not that hard to find services that at least try, especially on the more common issues. I'm thinking that the services with the better UIs and customer service will get their content up to par before the ones with the content will get their UIs and customer service programs there so those are the ones I'm keeping an eye on and as soon as one is where I need it to be to say goodbye to Spotify, that's exactly what I am going to do and in the conversations I see in other places, I'm far from alone. I'd love nothing more than to see Spotify brought down to earth so that they had no choice but to listen to and make efforts to develop a better experience for it's users. It's very disheartening to pay for a service that doesn't give two $#!*$ about you.
