When I share a playlist link, it plays deleted songs

My Question or Issue:

I constantly update my playlist by adding and deleting songs and when I go to share my current playlist on my linktree, the URL opens to songs I had previously deleted from my playlist. I have logged out from Spotify, uninstalled and reinstalled, I've played other playlists in hopes it will clear my fav playlist from the old songs and nothing seems to work. The old songs are not displayed in my songlist but when I go to share the link, they still show up and play.

I don't want to share songs I have deleted. Please help.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

This sounds very odd, but it's most likely caused by the fact that the system needs some time to sync up the playlist changes.

Can you let us know what happens if you share a link to a playlist 24 hours after you've made some changes? Also, does this happen if you edit the playlist on a different device, like your computer or the Web player?

It would be helpful to send us a link to one of your playlists and let us know which songs should be inside, and which should be deleted. If it's not too much of a hassle you can create a test playlist with a few songs inside. This will help us check what exactly is going on with the playlist.
