I've had Spotify for over 4 years, in that time I have liked a ton of songs, I know that I have had more than 11k songs in my library, sometimes in my likes I have more than 11 thousand, but recently it has been topped to 10,830. Where do my likes go?  What happens every time I like a new song? Do the older songs get erased from my library?

 

Also, I'm having trouble playing any songs on my Mac and on my iPhone and I have found a way to solve it, every time I look for a song with the "search" function, and I try to play it I just can't, like it doesn't even go to the player part of the app, it pops without any info as if I wasn't playing anything. To solve this, I close my app and re launch it, look for the song again and it plays. It's getting pretty annoying to this point though, so I'd like to know if there's any fix. 

Please solve your shuffle, it keeps getting deactivated after a few songs.

There's a similar post in the community that could help you with your issue.

"One of the reasons for this could be because some songs get re-uploaded from the artists with a new version. In these cases you'd need to re-add the songs to your Liked songs.

 

If this happens to a lot of songs, we'd recommend logging in on your Account page and going to ''Apps'' in the menu on the left side. 

 

There you can see all third party apps that are connected to your account and we'd recommend that you "Remove Access" for the apps that you don't recognize."

It's a good idea to give these steps a go and run a clean reinstall. This one is more thorough than the usual one.

I'm currently reinstalling in my devices and will update if this fixes the problem.

In case the issue persists you can also try with another account on the same device to check if there are any changes.

Does the app behave the exact same when you're signed in with another account?

 

Can you try with another internet connection to see if the issue persist?

 

It would also be great if you can let us know which versions of the apps you have.
