Why aren't any of my Daily Mixes updating?

For some reason my Daily Mixes aren't updating at all and the only answer I could find is that it updates depending on how often you listen to Spotify. Is this true?

You're absolutely right - the more you listen, the more frequently it updates.

It is happening to me too. I'm on a family plan, USA.

The daily mixes used to change the songs for me a lot and I loved the wide variety. But lately it's just the same exact songs being replayed; they are just in a different order from day to day. Sometimes Daily Mix 1 songs will move to a different number, but it's the same songs again and again. It's been like this since around Christmas time 2021. 2 months of this is quite annoying, please look into it.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

The Daily Mix is generated automatically based on your listening activity. 

What we'd recommend is listening to music via the Search option with Private Session turned off. Listening to music only via the Daily Mix, On Repeat, Repeat Rewind etc. playlists does not influence your music recommendation algorithm to recommend new songs and artists always.

Sometimes if you're listening primarily to a single genre or a couple of artists it might appear that the algorithm is not giving you any variety. This is because the pool of songs you might like (according to the algorithm) becomes somewhat limited.

Give the recommendation from above a go and check if the playlists are updating with new songs after a few days. If that doesn't happen it would be great if you can send some screenshots, of how you mixes are looking for a few days, so we can investigate further why this might be happening.
