Why has all my saved liked songs after 4th of April 2024 been deleted?

Why has all my saved liked songs after 4th of April 2024 been deleted?

Like my question has stated all the songs that I have liked songs after the 4th of April has been deleted for no reason. I was not warned of this at all.
Plus my Spotify Name has been changed to "vh83suuz0rqqikizwdrphguv6" when it was "Ashley's Musical Parade" and also my photo for my account has been deleted but I don't know if that is connected

Hey there,

Thanks for posting in the Community!

It's worth mentioning that a username can't be currently changed, but if you've got a display name on your Spotify account it replaces the username where it shows on your profile, app, and playlists. Here you can read more info if you'd like.

To make sure you're logged in to the correct and same account (that shows both this username and display name) you can check your credentials both from the Account Overview page > Edit profile and within the app. In the app on mobile, click on your profile photo > Settings > Account and on desktop click on the profile photo > Profile/Account.

If it wasn't you that made the changes in your Liked Songs playlist and who changed your profile photo then I recommend logging out of the account everywhere via the Account Overview page > Sign out everywhere just to be sure that no one else has access to the account. To secure it, follow the steps in this article.

Lastly, it's worth mentioning that our colleagues from Customer Support can take a look backstage and possibly help restore any library changes made on your account so if needed, you can also reach out to them via one of the ways mentioned here.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes 🙂
