Why is Spotify trying so hard to kill themselves?

Previous topics about much-complained issues are locked. Entire forums are locked. They continually keep removing features, making the UX worse, making it harder to use. Complaints do nothing, they continue to hollow out the desktop program.

I can't do anything that used to work, it's so buggy now, things randomly go wrong. Much loved features have permanently been removed. So often things go wrong. What happened to the developers who built Spotify, did they all leave?

I unsubscribed from premium because Spotify is becoming close to useless. Is all of this on purpose? I don't understand why a company would do this to themselves. You had a working product and first mover advantage, and you're driving people away. What kind of insane decisions are being made behind the scenes at Spotify? Is it all to make you more money, because I'm gonna give my money to someone else. You drove me away.
