[Your Library] Inconsistency with Liked Songs

[Your Library] Inconsistency with Liked Songs

When I go to an artist's page, their top tracks will not be recognized as liked, even though I know I have liked the song previously. It seems Spotify hosts multiple versions of songs and even albums, causing a lot of inconsistency with knowing which songs are in my "liked songs" library.

I am just curious if there is any way to fix this incredibly annoying problem.

Thank you.

Hey @dansVibin, yes, I've run into similar issues with liked songs and albums occasionally; for example, I might have liked an album two or three years ago, but when I go to the artist page, a different version of the album might appear that doesn't have the heart icon on it. This can definitely be a bit of a hassle to deal with, especially if I'm listening to a radio playlist or autoplay and I end up liking a duplicate of a song I already have.

Unfortunately, the best solution I've found is to just unlike the old one and replace it with the new one manually if that happens. Not as straightforward as you were hoping to hear I'm sure, but there aren't any easier ways that I'm aware of at this point.
