can't play on devices

can't play on devices

For the past few days my spotify won't play on any of my devices...

 

It's Sonos speakers and google home speakers.

 

All devices come up - but all say 'Can't play this right now' 

 

Very frustrated...help!

This type of issue is commonly related to some damaged cache stored on the device that's casting the playback. In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

 

If the issue persists, it's worth checking if all devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (all in 2.4 or all in 5.0 in case you have multiple signals). If so and the issue persists, we'd recommend rebooting the router to force the syncing between your devices and the network connection.
