My Question or Issue

My brother, as a joke, turned off the explicit content on my account. He turned it back on almost a month ago (on the 8th of August), but I still don't have access to explicit content. How to fix it? Yes, I'm certain he turned it back on, I saw it with my own eyes.

Welcome to the Community!

 

If you've already made sure the Explicit filter is on, to start and if this happens on one device, you can simply log out > back in twice in a row in order to resync your account and the device. 

 

However, if there's no change keep in mind that corrupted cache can cause different issues with Spotify's performance so it's worth giving the app a clean reinstall if you haven't already done so. You can take a look at the steps in this article.

 

If you continue not to see explicit tracks after these steps, let us know if the same thing happens across devices and we'll see what we can suggest next.

Thanks for joining the thread and appreciate you giving the suggested steps a try.

 

Are you by any chance a member of a Family plan? If that's so keep in mind that the Family manager can allow or block anything with an explicit tag for other members of the plan.

 

I recommend checking out the info under Premium Family explicit filter here and let us know how it goes.
