My Question or Issue

Hi! I noticed that the playlists that I had put in a folder, all appeared on my public profile next to each other instead of ordered by the date they were created like the other playlists on my profile. I tried removing the playlists from the folder which then moved all the playlists to the most recent ones on my profile. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can keep my playlists on my public profile in chronological order, or if its a bug maybe?

Hi there @luciac,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

The playlists you've added to your profile (including the ones that are in folders) follow the Custom order you've set in the app / Web Player, so feel free to move them around and organize them the way you want them to appear! Just note that pinned playlists are excluded.

If you don't see the Custom order option, make sure to set the filter in Your Library to Playlists:

Cheers 🤘

is this feature removed? custom does not show up for me anymore

Hey @linglingmotherf,

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

That's an odd behavior as this option should be available for everyone on mobile, desktop and Web Player. Keep in mind that the option only shows up if you select the tag "Playlist" at the top of Your Library as shown in the screenshot sent previously.

If you still cannot see the option, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

If you can see it on a different device, but not in yours, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps mentioned in this article.

Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, don't hesitate to ask.
