Poor matches foreign songs on my release radar

Poor matches foreign songs on my release radar

My release radar has changed to be totally foreign songs even though I do not like any of the artists. It’s like someone else has created the list or I have been hacked as none of my liked artists are anything like the ones showing.

Hey there,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

If you think someone else could be using your account, we'd first recommend following the process mentioned in this article under the section "Still have access to your account?" to secure it.

We'd also recommend taking into account the tips mentioned in this article to protect your account.

Lastly, we'd also suggest to keep listening to your favorite tracks and artists to change your taste profile back and start receiving accurate notifications again.

Hope this helps. If you need any additional questions, don't hesitate to ask.

The account is not the issue! The problem is that Release Radar is now showing songs by a bunch of artists we are not following. I have this problem too, and so do many other people. It is being discussed in this thread. So far, nobody from Spotify has answered...

Hey there @mrsmagnuson,

Thanks for reaching out.

As mentioned by @Vasil in the thread you linked, seeing artists you don't follow on your Release Radar is currently an expected behavior.

If you'd like to see only the new releases from artists you follow, you can click on the 'What's New' bell that you can find at the top right corner of the desktop app or inside the top left corner menu on mobile apps.

Hope this sheds some light on the matter. The Community will be here if anything else comes up.
