[iOS][Discover] New Releases by Artists I Follow

The app updates so often that I no longer know where to go to find new releases by artists I follow. 

My "release radar" posts singles, not necessarily albums, and does not distinguish between music posted today vs. last week vs. three weeks ago.

The notifications show me releases by artists I don't care about (looking at you, Drake). 

There used to be a section that would show new albums each Friday but I cannot find it on the app anymore (desktop, Mac) nor on my iPhone. 

Does this section exist anymore? What are other people doing to find new music by their bands each Friday?

Don't dupe this out, the old threads about previous versions of the software are irrelevant now. Where do you keep the new music TODAY -- October 1, 2021??

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

We moved your post to the relevant Help board where it fits better.

In the mobile app, you can find all new releases by the artists you follow in the What's New feed, which you can access by tapping the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Home screen, next to Settings and Recently played.

New releases also appear for a limited time directly in the Home screen.

To clarify, right now the only content that is updated each Friday with new releases is your Release Radar playlist, which is a mix of recently released music from artists you follow or listen to, and recommendations based in your listening activity.

Thanks for this info. The notifications section of the mobile app seems to work best for what I am looking for. It also distinguishes between single, album and EP, which is perfect. Is there a version of this in the desktop app for iOS?

Thanks for getting back to us. 

Currently, this feature is only available in the mobile app. In this case, you can have a look in our Idea Exchange to see if someone else has already made a similar suggestion. If there isn't one, you can give these steps a go and submit your idea so that other users can also support it. The higher the number of votes an idea gets, the more likely it is for it to be implemented.

Hi: a follow-up question on this subject; it’s great I now know where to find new releases of artists I follow but am I missing something or is there no option to play these songs/albums in one click? Like a release radar? It would be ideal to have a play button there and it remembers what you’ve already listened (so isn’t new anymore) and only plays really new content of artists I follow.

As of today the bell icon is gone... I'm so sad. whyyyyyyyyy. Where can we find this info now??? the "new releases" page only shows a very limited amount and doesnt show upcoming releases
