my liked songs aren't showing up in my library

I'm using the Spotify app on my Mac and none of my liked songs are showing up in my library. none of my created playlists are effected but when I click on the Liked Songs tab it tells me to go browse for songs to add. I have quite a few songs I know I have liked and should be showing up on this tab. I included a picture of whats going on. on my phone my library is showing up perfectly so I'm not sure why I'm having this issue on my laptop

Most common issues can be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way, you can start afresh with Spotify on your device.
