My Question or Issue

I'm new to premium, with a family account (we haven't done family sharing).

I'm not linked to my Facebook account, or google.

Today I noticed about 40 new playlists in my library from the Evolution Music and Eminent Music Group that I didn't add.  A lot of them were empty.  They were all heavy rap and hip hop (just an interesting correlation).  Did I hit an extra button somewhere?  Whaatttt did I do?  lol

Hey @jakk-ca,

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community and welcome.

If you've come across playlists unexpectedly added to your Spotify, it'd be good to make sure no one is accessing your account in an unauthorized way.

For this purpose, it'd be great to bookmark and follow the steps in this support page article as well as this one since they feature some essential info regarding how to keep the safety of your account up-to-date.

Hope you'll find this useful. We'll keep an eye on your reply in case there's anything else we can help with!

Same! It’s not my style of music and it randomly started showing up. It’s only playlists by Evolution Music

Thanks for letting me know I'm at least not the only one!  I deleted them all but there were so many... I'll check again in a while and make sure they don't repopulate!

Same here. Playlists can be monetized, and the user that owns these playlists has a very suspicious name. This seems like a security concern.
