My Question or Issue
"Liked Songs" not loading fully, only loading the last 25 songs i liked. Have this issue though out my devices. PC as well, I use the website to play my music, so its not a case of the app needing to be cleanly reinstalled or anything but I have done any way on my Mobile and Tablet but the issue continues. This issue has been going on for a good 6+ months. I've had this issue in 2021 and an adviser managed some how to fix it but none of the Advisers I've spoken to in the past week are able to this time around. One said it was the volume of songs (22+k songs) was the issue but in 2021 i had less then 1000, so it can't be the volume of songs.

Hey @Baz828,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community.
Taking into account that the issue happens across devices, it's possible that the number of saved tracks could be affecting the proper behavior of the app. Even when the Liked songs playlist doesn't have a cap, if it has 20k+ songs, it's expected that the app might be not loading properly taking into consideration that it needs to load a huge amount of tracks. So in this case, we'd recommend reducing the number of tracks saved in your Liked songs in order to take some weight off the app and it can load faster.
Hope this helps. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.

Yet I had this same issue back in 2021 with less than 1000 songs. Not a very good system then is it.
This is a pretty impossible solution then as how can you remove songs from a playlist if Spotify isn't letting you see what's there?
I'm having this issue, new since the 10 February 2025 update. There are 4834 songs in my liked playlist. This is not acceptable solution. I recommend Spotify works on its actual system infrastructure instead of random cosmetic adjustments. Given I've had multiple unresolved issues with Spotify in past few months and haven't even been able to get a response from support, I will be canceling my Spotify premium account.
Absolutely a huge issue. I use my liked songs to go back to a specific timeframe all the time.
They have definitely CHANGED THE ENGINE or something - the Liked songs list used to be super reliable and browsable, nowadays you can see songs popping in and out (as if it's loading songs quite randomly) and NO DATE on the scroll bar.
But a huge hindrance is also the fact that it only loads like 100 songs and only loads more if you scroll down. This is clearly an attempt to save bandwidth, exactly like Youtube makes its' quality settings super cumbersome to access on mobile. This leads to a huge problem when playing songs - if you play a song, let's say number 800 on liked list - when you return to the list, it's not loaded and you can't see the song. You have to try to scroll back again to the 100 song mark, and from there you have to keep scrolling. It's super annoying.
Also Spotify doesn't recognize the songs that are playing right now. If I press to play a song, it won't show it as green/playing when I'm browsing the album the song is from.
They have clearly been trying to build tracking and monetization in the app (with links now being tied to your account, and not just vanilla song links). I seriously hate it when they break stuff like this.
STOP IT.
I have kinda the same issue. My liked songs on desktop are only showing up to 10.000 songs, totally random.
I can see all my 14.575 liked songs on the web player, and on my phone, and used to on the desktop too before the latest "updates".
Now even some random newly added songs are not showing on desktop.
But the biggest problem right now is actually that I can't even get to play those "missing" songs anywhere, and it drops the connection to my phone or the web player constantly, telling me "it can't play that now" so those 4.575 random songs I can't play!
I'm used to scrolling down to the bottom and see everything, with no issues.
Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get it to start one of those songs on my phone and then it can shuffle all the songs, but I mainly use desktop, so this is not a stable solution.
I have tried everything, cleaning cache, log in/out, delete preferences and even a clean install, you need to FIX THIS ASAP
