My Question or Issue

I have a long queue of more than 100 songs. I want to play a podcast next without losing my queue. I can add the podcast to the end of the queue but the desktop client cuts off the end of the queue, so I cannot reorder it to the top. How do I play this episode next without erasing my queue?

Hey @pizzicatoiv,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

You should be able to use drag and drop in combination with using the scroll bar on the right to rearrange the queue to your linking. If any of these features doesn't seem to work as expected, could you let us know if the issue persists after running a clean reinstall on your device? This step lets you start afresh with the latest app version by removing any corrupted files from previous installations. Note that we also recommend installing the app version from the Microsoft Store as it's the one best optimized for Windows 10.

If the issue persists afterwards, we'd appreciate a screenshot or recording of what you see at your end. That way we'll be able to have a closer look at what's going on.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

Hi @Mihail,

The issue is that the queue cuts off so the end of the full queue isn't accessible anywhere in the UI. I've included a screenshot of the queue. In this example, the item I want to reorder is after the 50th item so I cant access it. You can reproduce this by queuing more than 50 tracks.

Is the queue available as a playlist somewhere in my library where I can reorder at the end of the queue?

Hi there @pizzicatoiv,

Thank you for your reply.

This is expected behavior. However, there's an idea - [Desktop] Do not limit queue visibility to 50 for manual additions. You can leave a +VOTE and Subscribe to the thread for any updates.
