'recently added' sort option

'recently added' sort option

Premium, UK, Samsung Galaxy A40  Android

 

i've always used the 'recently added' option for sorting my library, and the new 'recent' (as in recently played) is super confusing for me. why was 'recently added' removed and is there any chance we'll get it back?

It is currently not possible to manually add this option to your account, but you can contact our customer support team. They'll help you transfer the contents of your current account to a new one. Here is how to do that.

Thanks for the screenshots.

 

Have you tried the search options of a different Spotify account on your device? It is possible, that the lack of the desired search option is a test. Let's see how a different account behaves.

yup, the other account does have the 'recently added' option. is there a way i can get it back on my main account?
