removing files from local files

i want to remove files from the local files playlist and i tried removing the downloads they were from but they're still there.

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

What you can do is toggle off Show audio files from this device. The option is located in Settings > Local files. This will hide the Local files playlist in Your Library + make any local files in your other playlists unavailable (if you want to remove those you'll have to manually do so).

In case you want to remove specific songs from the Local files playlist, you'll need to physically delete them from your device's storage. On desktop, you can uncheck the source folders you no longer want to include in the Local files playlist.

On my library for local files, some of the songs won’t play but others will. I wanted to delete them all and restart it but I don’t know how
