transfer liked songs to playlist, chromebook

transfer liked songs to playlist, chromebook

how do i transfer liked songs to a playlist on chromebook? the ctrl a method doesnt work for me. i have thousands of liked songs and would like to switch them all over to a playlist for sharing.

Hi @snailfulx 

 

Thanks for your question. I am not very familiar with Mac's/Chromebooks, but lets try the method I use with my windows computer.

1) Navigate to the playlist that has all the songs you want to transfer

2) Select the first song at the top of the list so it is highlighted

3) Scroll all the way down to the last song in the playlist and hold down the Shift key and then click the last song. This should highlight every song in the playlist.

4) Once all songs are highlighted, right click any of the highlighted songs to open a popup > hover your mouse over the "add to playlist" option, then you can select "Add to New Playlist" or select an existing playlist to add to. 

 

I'm not familiar with Mac's but know that the track pad on the keyboard doesn't have a "right/left click" button, so I've added a youtube video here that shows you how to right click if you weren't sure. It sounds like clicking or tapping the track pad with two fingers will be the same as "right-clicking" on a windows computer.
