Adding new song to Apple Watch downloaded playlist requires delete and redownload to work?

My Question or Issue

For a playlist that has previously been downloaded to my Apple Watch, adding a new song to that playlist on my iPhone does not sync that song to the Apple Watch. There seems to be no way to download additional playlist songs without completely deleting and redownloading the entire playlist. Is there a better way to do this?

Hey there @cgb223,

Thanks for the post!

Currently that's the only way to download music to the watch, as it doesn't update the downloaded contents in real time.

Hope this info helps. Don't hesitate to reach out again if you have questions.
