After Advertisement, no sound

Listening to a podcast when a few advertisements start to play. Once ads finish the podcast resumes, however with no sound. The podcast episode is still playing because the time is ticking and even subtitles appear on the screen, yet the sound no longer works. The experience of ads playing and then the episode going silent makes you think your battery died or something got disconnected. But no, it is clearly a bug or issue that Spotify needs to resolve. It has happened multiple times and the only solution is to swipe close the app and reload it. And even then, it sometimes makes you listen to the advertisements again before properly playing with sound.

I have the same issue as well. I have tried both the quick reinstall and the clean reinstall with no improvement.
