AirPods + Spotify = Wierd Audio Blip

AirPods + Spotify = Wierd Audio Blip

Trying to get to the bottom of this. So far no luck with support and honestly no idea what I would search for.

On my iPhone 13 Pro. When I listen with 1 pod and take out it plays for a moment through the phone speaker. Video shows this with me using fingers to fake ear detection.

I can’t repro this on my iPad but I can with multiple AirPods on my phone.

We understand your frustration and that this issue is interfering with the way you're used to listening to music. We see that the support team already reported this to the right team of Spotify. So far, we can't tell if or when this will get resolved.


Keep the app up to date to get the latest fixes the teams are pushing out.

Ok. Narrowed thi down to Spacial Audio within the Spotify app. I can easily repro on any device if I turn that on. 

Spotify, I think you have a bug there.
