Album/artist view coming up blank?

Album/artist view coming up blank?

When trying to view albums, it loads for a second, then comes up blank. Artist view comes up with an error message, "Could not load artist. This artist is currently unavailable. Please try again later."

It's been like this all day for every artist I've looked up. Anyone else have this issue?

Hi and welcome to the community. There can be temporary issues causing this. Have you tried logging out and back in?

Thanks! And tried logging out and back in, no dice

I should mention that tracks come up just fine.

Hmmm.....this is streamed music, not loacal files I'm assuming. Before we start deleting caches and reinstalling, maybe give it a few hours to see if it sorts itself out? Otherwise you can follow the troubleshooting steps in this post.

Same thing here happening at right around the same time. I've reinstalled multiple times, shut down the app, shut down the phone, logged out, logged back in...you name it. Radio's fine, existing playlists are fine, and track search works fine, but I can't load an artist or an album page. The same thing is happening on my iPhone 5 and my iPad 3, though I only did troubleshooting on the iPhone.

I have same problem, but PC client is OK.

Right! My iPhone and iPad also appears it!
I guess is is big bug though!
Please give some update! Spotify!

Same here. I think this is just Spotify trying to compensate for their slowness. Before albums would not load for 15 seconds. With the update they have seemingly just switched it so the album view loads but empty. Then 15-30 seconds later the tracks appear. It is extremely annoying. I'm looking at Rdio to see if it is worth switching at this point because Spotify seemingly don't plan on fixing their speed issues at the core and just plan on covering it up with some more annoying tactics.
