Album cover not showing in the bottom left corner

When playing songs (which as I noticed are not liked) very often the album cover is not showing up. Also the background color doesn’t change (just black).

I tried to reproduce this on my end but everything is working just fine.

Could you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? Let me know if that makes a difference.

tried it already, also tried on another phone, where spotify was never even installed before...same problem

Hey @plvster,

Can you let me know if you're using any cache clearing, battery saving or third party anti-virus apps that might be interfering with the album cover not showing?

You also mentioned that you have tried on a different device. Can you check if a friend or a family member loggs in on their phone, would they get the same issue?

Lastly, is this happening on WI-fi, 3G/4G or both?
