My Question or Issue

Occasionally while playing an album in order (from start to finish), the album’s radio will begin playing after the third or fourth song.

Lately when I play an album as I normally would (with the intention of listening to the whole thing), autoplay of related tracks suddenly kicks in around midway through the album, and I have to go back and click a track in the original album to continue listening to the entire thing. Anyone else having this problem? Very frustrating!

Hey @roskesoda,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

The described experience seems related to the play queue. Could you check if the play queue on your account has entries, that may cause the playback to switch to them in the middle of an album? You can find out here how to remove items from the play queue.

It's also worth checking if the Autoplay option is turned off.

If this doesn't bring us further, do you mind preparing a short screen recording, where we can see what exactly is going on on your end and what is placed in the queue?

Keep us posted,

Cheers!

I have the same issue as above and my queue is always clear when it happens. The radio always plays the album radio, nothing to do with queued tracks. As you can see in the screen shots of my play history it played 6 tracks then jumped to the album radio. This happens to me quite often now when listening.

Hey there @EskiEllis

Thanks for getting in touch about this.

Could you let us know if this happens across devices or only on a specific one?

On another note, are you using the Shuffle feature when this happens or you're listening to the songs in order?

Lastly, we'd like to know if this started happening after a specific event such as an update.

Keep us posted.

I definitely think it was after an update a few months ago. I only really listen on my phone (Samsung S21+) and I think it's when I'm only listening in order but I don't use shuffle often.

Thanks

Hey @EskiEllis,

Thanks for your reply in this thread and for the info shared 🙂

Is this inconvenience present on another mobile device? It’d be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account and check.

As mentioned by @Dian above, it'd be worth it if the Autoplay feature is toggled on in your settings. If so, turn it off and let us know if you notice any difference.

Lastly, just to confirm, is this happening over WiFi? 3G/4G? Both? Do you notice any difference if you switch the internet connection you're using?

We'll keep an eye on your response!
