Album tracks not playing in sequence

Regardless of whether "shuffle" is on or not, I cannot play album tracks in sequence.  Anyone know why?

I have the same problems and this started recently, shuffle is not highlighted in my pc. 

Whats wrong ?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

It sounds like you are having a playqueue issue.

Head to your play queue by pressing "Queue" on the left hand side of the desktop client, double click the first track and then then repeatedly press the next button until your queue is empty. Then make sure your shuffle button is off and try playing an album again.

I have a simular problem: I have a playstart with nulist with 10 mof the same album. When I start with number one of that list te next one is dosnot even contious with nr 2 but to randomly with another music piece not even in the same album and not even in an other playlist. It looks like choosen randomly from an enormous amount pieces from the same composer

Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.

If you're a Premium subscriber, you can listen to a playlist in the order you want. You just need to make sure that the Shuffle button is turned off and there's no songs added to the queue. In case you have songs on the queue, as they'll play after the selected song, we'd recommend clearing the play queue by following the steps mentioned in this article.

However, if you're on the free tier, the playlist and albums will play in shuffle mode by default. In this case, if you want to play an album in order, we'd recommend picking the next song from the list before the current track finishes to avoid the shuffle to interfere with your playback.

Remember also that you can easily subscribe to Premium to enjoy even more of your listening experience with ads-free music, downloading your favorite songs and playing the list in the order you want.
