All my songs disappered

All my songs disappered

Today I opened spotify and when I clicked on songs all of the songs that I have saved where gone I don't know what to do or what happened

I experienced the same thing.  I had all my songs around 07:00 PST, reopened the app around 08:00 and noticed that all of my songs were gone.

 

Anyone have any suggestions or solutions to getting them back?

Hey @MarlonSoGood @Vherreras ! Welcome to the community ^^

 

Follow these steps ^^

  1. Uninstall Spotify and remove all folders.
    • This includes: ~/Library/Caches/com.spotify.Client
    • ~ Represents your home folder.
    • Go to Finder and click Go in the top menu.
    • If you don’t see Library, hold down Alt on your keyboard.
  2. Ensure any programs with Flash aren't running and perform an uninstall.
  3. Restart your computer and install Flash again.
  4. Download and install Spotify.

I forgot to mention that I'm using the app on my iPhone 6.  Any recommendations for that?

I just reinstalled and it worked.  Thanks for the support!

I had the same problem on my iPhone 6 but every time I try to reinstall the app it says it couldn't bedownloaded at this time. Also before I deleted the app in settings it showed my username as a bunch of letters and numbers and my account was free instead of premium but it showed my premium account on safari browser.

Hmm, that sounds tough..

Be sure that you uninstall it right. Here's a tutorial for iphones.

1. On the home screen, tap and hold the Spotify icon until it shakes.
2. Tap the symbol on the icon.
3. Open the App Store then search for and install the Spotify Music app.

If you've done this install it again.

I did that but it just won't reinstall

I did that as well but nothing. Also I finally got it to install but all my songs are still gone. I went to the support site and clicked the help page about playlists missing and it showed that three of my playlists had been deleted even though I didn't delete them. I clicked on them to restore them and went back to the app but it didn't put them back on there. All this happened when I was trying to log in to the app for the first time when I tried to log in on the app on my vizio smart tv for the first time and it said I needed a premium account even though I have a premium account, so I logged out of the account on my phone and back in and it said my account was free instead of premium. Also the fact that in the settings it shows my username as "22osi3eepbb5rqiqwudyf7rma" but it should be "codylane101". I think I might have been hacked but I can still log in with the same username and password. Is there anyway I can contact spotify over the phone and physically talk to someone about this? Cuz I am now paying for spotify on Apple App Store and through there site to see if it would fix it.

I have figured it out. It turns out that when you create your account and logout for the first time, when you log back in don't log in with your email but with your username. If you log into your account with your email it sends you to a completely different account. My username is the same as my email minus the "@yahoo.com" and that's where I messed up.
