App crashes within 10 seconds of opening on iPad 2

Spotify app crashes within 10 seconds of opening on my iPad2. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, deleting cookies from Safari (advice from another thread). The problem has been ongoing for 3 months now. The same was happening on my Motorola Turbo 2 Droid, but has since been resolved after sending crash data notifications back several times. The app on the iPad does not offer sending data back to Spotify and I'm pretty upset that I can't just call someone to fix this issue.

Have you restarted your device after uninstalling and then reinstall when you turn on your device?

2. Restart
3. Install

Yes, restarted, uninstalled, reinstalled, to no avail. I sign in with
Facebook, give permissions, the app opens, and then crashes before I can
get to a Playlist and choose a song.
