App ignores system proxy settings

Hi,

I think this has been raised on here before, but there's never been any response as to why it's happening. Unlike every other app on my phone, Spotify is unable to connect to the internet from behind a proxy. It does not seem to take on the proxy that is defined in the device's network settings, and does not provide any way to override it in the app itself. The desktop app has proxy settings available, but the mobile version is unusable on my work network. Any explanation or advice would be appreciated
