App not connecting to internet

App not connecting to internet

Just this past week my Sportify app will no longer connect to the interent.  Everything else on my phone connects both to wi-fi and to cell towers.  It is just the app.  I cannot look up music.  When I do it says "Something went wrong.  The artist cant be loaded at this moment.  Please try again in a bit" and when I look at Discover is says "Discover can't be loaded at this moment.  Please try again in a bit".  I am a Premium member and my desktop spotify works just fine.

This happened to me once before, I had to delete the app and then redownload. I hope this works for you!

The original poster didn't return to comment about their problem but I am experiencing this. Discover says "Discover can't be loaded at this moment. Please try again in a bit." Search says "Something went wrong!" Radio won't come up and just shows some placeholder square boxes where the different radio stations would be. Browse just shows a spinning indicator with the word "Loading" at the top.

iPhone 5s, unable to connect to anything within the app on WiFi or LTE. I have deleted the app and redownloaded it and the problem persists.

Edit: Well something as easy as restarting the phone resolved the problem.

I'm having the same issue and have been using that age old classic turn it off and on again. but... it happens twice a week and i'm getting a little fed up of it. sort it out spotify?

Hey it's 2017 and i've been sub'd to Spotify Canada since it came out.

Can you please fix this shÌt?

Seriously, i've had two tablets, both an Ipad 4th Gen and a Tab S2 from 2016 and every time I open spotify

"something went wrong"

I wonder if Apple Music is any better. Their service is looking damned tempting if this doesn't get sorted out.

Hey @Direshadow and everyone!

Thanks for the recent reports on this.

It sounds like it's happening on multiple devices for people. Could you all confirm you're on the latest version of the app for all devices by following these steps first?

It's also worth checking if you have mobile data enabled for Spotify on the mobile devices that are being affected. You should be able to change these settings by going to your device's Settings and looking for Spotify.

It's also worth restarting your routers, to see if the devices can recognise them again.

Keep us posted, we'll be right here to continue offering assistance.
