Auto shuffle wont turn off even when connected to a personal computer.

Auto shuffle wont turn off even when connected to a personal computer.

I'm a Spotify free user but i'm also connected to my own personal laptop via the same account. I used to be able to turn shuffle off on my iPhone (since i'm connected to my laptop) but now its not letting me do that. And its getting quite annoying considering my brother did the same thing with his phone and computer and he can turn shuffle on and off as he pleases. Its only letting me turn off shuffle on my phone when i have the we browser up on my laptop. 

 

Anyone got any ideas on how to fix it? I've tried deleting and creating a new account on both my computer and phone but nothing seems to be working.

I have suggest contant to technical team we will help you. i have few suggest you can try this, 

you are limited in some features compared to premium users. However, the ability to control playback and shuffle settings on different devices should still be available.

There are some steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Ensure You Are Logged in to the Same Account: Double-check that you are using the same Spotify account on both your iPhone and laptop. If you have multiple accounts, it's possible that you might be logged in with different accounts on different devices.

Check Spotify App Versions: Make sure you are using the latest version of the Spotify app on both your iPhone and laptop. Outdated apps may have some issues that have been fixed in newer versions.

Restart Spotify Apps: Close the Spotify app on both devices and then restart them. This can help refresh the app and resolve minor glitches.

Check Offline Mode: If you have enabled Offline Mode on your iPhone, it might affect the shuffle settings. Ensure that Offline Mode is turned off.

Please note that some features on Spotify are exclusive to premium subscribers, and limitations may apply to free users. However, the ability to control shuffle settings on different devices should still be available for free users.

If your brother can control shuffle settings on his devices without any issues, it's possible that there might be a specific account-related or device-specific issue with your setup. Contacting Spotify Support will be the best course of action to get personalized assistance with your account and devices.
