Available offline but not the same on all devices

Solved!

Available offline but not the same on all devices

Hi guys,

I need to be able to have different playlists available offline on my ipad-macbook-iphone due to different sizes of storage on each device.

I do NOT want ALL (same) playlists available on all devices. Is that possible? If not make it possible please before my trial expires.

BR,

George

Good news! Yes this is possible.

All playlists are shown on all devices, but there is currently no way to have the same offline playlists on all devices.

Right now each device has to be managed separately.

so you mean that if I switch on "available offline" for a playlist in my ipad this action will NOT be reflected on my iphone? My ipad is 32GB, my iphone is 16GB so I want fewer playlists available offline on my iphone than my ipad. I want NO offline playlists on my macbook.

please confirm. (keep in mind that playlists that are made online only from offline in iOS retain their data, consuming storage space - another BIG problem)

Hey @f-bone

Yes that is correct. Offline playlists are managed separately across devices.

This is a problem that the developers hope to address in the future with cache clearing options.
