Hey!
I don't know if I can help you or not but, I try my best even tho I'm not an RisingStar, RockStar or Moderator.
You can look in your Settings if you have the microphone on from your headphones it makes the quality of the audio much worse ( called Handsfree I think) and, if it's not that you can go to the equaliser in Spotify and change the quality.

I hope I could help you with your problem ;D

I also had problem with sound quality on my Koss BT 330i. It is the Spotify equaliser and the normalising sound to hight that make it sounds like broken headphones.

A work around is to use the program Airfoil Satelite on phone  and stream around by airplay to computer (if you have one). Need to bay the program, though.  It is actually very good sound quality from it. A bit buggy, lost connection sometimes when I go back to Spotify app, but you can control Spotify by Airfoil  (go to next, prev. song). You can also bost volume a bit. If not using this third part program (and airplay) to go around the problem, you have to adjust down equaliser in Spotify. If you like  more bass, you have to turn down midd and treble very low. I have it  to zero above 1kHz.
There is other topic here in forum about this problem with the Spotify equaliser.

I also had a similar problem but it was with the oraimo free pods especially on pc...but I figured if you go to your settings and scroll down to audio quality and change your volume level to normal and then tweak your equalizer to your taste it might just fix your problem👌🏾
