My Question or Issue

 

After using apps like YouTube and Snapchat, when I boot up Spotify and try to play music, no audio comes out. The music indicator shows that it is playing music, but I have to restart the app like 2-5 times in order for the audio to play. Also, I ran into another bug while trying to post this message. After submitting, I was not logged in, and once I submitted the site errored out and all of my message was lost. Also, when adding stuff to playlists on desktop, sometimes the sidebar of the app will completely go blank! Any more, bugs seem to appear more frequently now than I have ever seen with Spotify, and it's making me even consider Apple 🤢.

For the issues you experience on both your iPhone and desktop we recommend trying out a clean reinstall. This will remove corrupted files that could be causing the issues. Check out this help page on how to perform a clean reinstall depending on the affected device.

 

If you experience issues when posting messages here on the Community, make sure you're logged in via your Spotify account. Another thing you can try in order to avoid issues is opening the page in a private/incognito window.
