My Question or Issue

Hi, I'd upgraded my iOS with Sonoma 14.4.1. When spotify app runs when I work, it generate new bugs and finaly reboot my mac. It has done several times. It only happens with spotifyapp (not with apple music). Every times, I had powerpoint opened with but there is no problems when apple music + powerpoint are open together. I didn't have this problem before upgrading iOS.

Maybe a bug to correct

Hey @2The_metal,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome!

If this happens only with the Spotify app, keep in mind that corrupted cache can often cause different performance issues. As a starting point and if you haven't done this already I recommend clearing the cache files and giving Spotify a clean reinstall. You can take a look at the info here

As a step further, you can also disable hardware acceleration from Help > Troubleshooting > Disable hardware acceleration and restart.

Let us know if that changes the behavior 🙂
