Can anyone help with my music being paused when I send a snap/message

Whenever I send a snap or message on Snapchat, my music stops playing and I have to click play again. Is there anything I can do to stop this?

Thanks for posting in the Community.

If the playback on your mobile device stops when switching apps, it means that most probably Spotify doesn't have the permissions needed to run in the background. Giving those permissions to Spotify manually should fix the problem.

If you're using Android device, you should look for that Permissions setting on your device. 

If you're experiencing this on an iOS device - make sure that Background App Refresh is toggled on for Spotify. Here is more on how to do that.

What happens if the background refresh is toggled on and it still pauses when I just open Snapchat. I’m not sending nor watching snaps. Just text. What other options can I try?

Turn off the micrpohone for snapchat

The same start happened to switch to the pad and my iPhone now let post listen to how fix problem on my own

Go into settings and then Snapchat app an turn off Bluetooth for Snapchat, that will fix your problem
