Can't delete songs on Starred playlist using mobile app

As of yesterday (I think my Spotify app updated yesterday), when I swipe right on a song in my Starred playlist, it no longer brings up the button to delete that song. This isn't a problem with any of my other playlists on mobile, and I can still delete songs from my Starred playlist using the Spotify computer program. This is just a problem with the Starred playlist on mobile. Help?

Hey everyone! This should be sorted for you in the latest iOS update (1.7.0). 

Please post here if you're having trouble deleting songs on the Starred playlist after that update.

It's working for me now.  Note: you have to select the Edit option from the three dots in the upper-right-hand corner.

Here are my issues:

1. It would have been easier if you kept the swipe to delete option for every song.  Not sure why you got rid of it. 

2. It also would have been nice if the search field could still be used when trying to edit a playlist.  That way I could easily find a song and delete it. My playlists are huge!  Now I have to search through hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of songs just to find the one track I want to delete. 

This app becomes less and less user-friendly with every update.  You definitely need to start considering focus groups, Spotify.  It's like you're no longer thinking about the consumer.

Same problem as starese! I couldnt delete songs when searching (used it all the time). But now I cant even delete songs from my playlist without searching!! Every update the app gets worse.

Hey guys, for those saying this isn't working are you able to click 'Edit' in the top right of the playlist and then delete tracks?

Works, but oc very unhandy with big playlists (even 100+ songs). And def not as user friendly the way it was being able to search in the playlist and from there swipe to delete! Why would Spotify invest time in taking out functionality where it can add new?

If you do that you Will delete the whole playlist and not one song. In the playlist itself i can hit the three dots but than i don't have the option edit.

I see that there is a new version. I've installed it. Now i can hit the three doos and hit edit!!

1.7.0 updates installed, still can't delete individual songs from starred playlist. The edit button is on another page with other playlists that will allow me to delete entire lists but I want to be able to delete individual songs in my starred playlist with the swipe/delete as we did before. I can not believe we don't have the option to do that on mobile devices anymore. Very upsetting!

You don't see the edit button immediatly. First you need to click on the three dots. And than you will see edit. Hope it will work now. It does with me.

Hi, I just wanted to follow up to let you know that I'm too unable to delete individual songs from my offline synced playlists anymore. This occurs since the last update. A quick fix would be greatly appreciated!

The problem is not the update. The problem are the last 2 updates. The first removed the possibility to swipe delete from search in playlists. This update removes the swipe to delete function as a whole, which is a great iPhone usabilitt feature!

It works for me too, now that I've got version 1.7
