Can't download Spotify App on iPod Touch

Using IOS 5.1.1

Model: 64GB 3rd generation

I'm a premium subscriber.

Do you get an error message when you try to download it from the App Store?

Found app, but option to download is greyed out, can't even start downloading programme. Any ideas? Help!

What version of iOS are you using?

iOS 6, I think it maybe something to do with permissions? Is that possible? Just a guess, have tried everything I can think of!

Can you just double check you:

- Don't have any restrictions set in Settings > General > Restrictions 

- Your country on your iPhone is set correctly and you are in a country where Spotify is available.

- Your age on your iTunes account makes you 12+

Ah, that is probably it, it is my son's ipod, I guess we probably set it up with his age, he is 11, we will have to wait!

Hi, I have an ipod touch and the latest version i can have is IOS 6. I bought spotify premium especially for my ipod, to be able to listen to music offline, I guess I was ripped off bcs it is not possible as it requires ios8...why do you do this to your clients? it is 99% likely people would like to use this on an ipod, why not making it easy for them?. What a waste!

me too! it is extremely frustrating, I am so dissapointed, will be cancelling next month
