Can't play local files offline on spotify iphone app

Hi,

I can not play my local files when my spotify app is in offline mode. When I am online it is fine, but when offline the songs will not play (they are obviously all dowloaded offline, green tick and all). All the songs are on my normal music on my iphone, and it works fine offline on my mac, but whatever I do, they will not play offline on my iphone. I have deleted the app before and nothing changes. Even when i added the same songs from spotify, not local files, they still won't play, which is obviously infuriating. Any help and i would be extremely grateful.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community. Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread.

Could you give the steps here a go and perform a clean reinstall of the app on both devices?  They are more thorough than a regular reinstall and make sure that no corrupted files remain that might be the reason for such behavior. You should also remove all playlists with imported files and start the whole process from scratch using the instructions in this guide.
