Can’t play saved music on iPhone unless I reset / quit the app

My Question or Issue

Spotify on iPhone won’t play saved music unless I quit the app. Then it only plays one track before crashing again or sometimes I have to skip one or two tracks to get it playing again.  It doesn’t do this for streamed music.   I recently changed my play back settings from very high to high.  I tried logging out and logging in again but it’s still happening.   I don’t know why to delete the app as it would involve spending hours re downloading my saved music again

Hi @user-removed,

Thank you for sharing your post on the Community.

We understand you'd prefer not to reinstall the app. However, whenever there are issues with downloaded music, it's best to run a clean reinstall of the app as this one is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble. Take into account that downloads are restored in the form of cache.

If this doesn't solve it, please check that there are no cache clearing apps running for Spotify. Keep in mind that even if you didn't install such apps, some devices have them preinstalled.

Let us know how this goes.
