My Question or Issue
I can't turn off the random option when listening to album. I gos to the Now Playing view and hit the crossed arrows icon and it become gray but when I come back to Album view, I still can see the random icon in shuffle and it's effectively random.
I don't have this issue in Spotify MacOS.
Thanks.
Hey @Androm1,
Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!
Try running a clan reinstall of the app on your phone, following the steps in this Guide here.
Make sure that you click the first song in an album when you start playing and not the big green button.
Let us know if the issue persists after that.
Cheers.
Hi,
Done but still having the same issue.
Thanks.

Maybe a problem with my account ?
Thanks.
Hey @Androm1,
Thanks for the reply.
Have you tried using a different account? You can ask a friend/family member to log in with their account on your phone.
Keep us posted on how you get on.
spotify does not want anything but random so that spotify controls the number of times a piece is played - im an old fart and hate spotify for messing with my choices when im paying for the service - the fact of the run around from couple years ago is evidence to support my statement as to the motivation behind 'always random'
