Cannot download Spotify App Iphone5

My Question or Issue

 Am premium member, but hubby can't download (no option to install) the spotify app on his IPhone 5.  We've tried pressing the home/lock button, and checked all restrictions as per other posts, but this doesn't do anything for us.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device?

 

If that doesn’t help, please send me a screenshot of the error message it shows when you attempt to download the Spotify Music app.

Hi there!

Hi, thanks for your reply.  Yes, he's tried restarting several times.  He goes into app store, but the "get" button cannot be pushed (like the option of downloading isn't available).  There's no error message to take a screenshot of, it just won't let him download.

Hi again!, yes, his Iphone has Ios10 and much more than 250MB available.

Could you try to force restart the App Store, to see if that makes a difference?

 

Also, please try to use another network connection if available.

What do you mean by him? You aren't the one having this issue? 

If so please encourage your friend to post his issue here 🙂

 

I'm still offering some tips until he posts himself. Try signing out the App Store and then sign in with another account to try and download the app. By the way, can he download other apps normally?

Also, make sure everything is up to date, as I checked the latest version of iOS for the iPhone 5 is 10.3.3 so go ahead and suggest your friend to update 🙂

Hi BillyJ, sorry for delay in responding.  Hubby went back to the "restrictions" as you suggested, turned all of them off and that ended up working.  So i'm going back to that post and clicking on the solved.
