CarPlay is stuck if connected without Internet Connection

CarPlay is stuck if connected without Internet Connection

Since Like 2 months, I have the issue that the Spotify App is stuck in the screen „you are offline“ if CarPlay is connecting to my iPhone in my underground Garage without having an internet connection. Before, it loaded automatically as soon celluar was available - now I have to actively kill my Spotify App on the iPhone and restart it to have CarPlay working properly.

iOS: 17.3
iPhone 13 Pro
Spotify App: 8.9.8.487

Welcome to the Community!

 

Could you just confirm if the same thing happens even if you're not using CarPlay? Have you tried with a different device to see if the issue persists there as well?

 

We also recommend giving the app a clean reinstall with the steps in this article as it can help resolve different issues with Spotify's performance.

Hi Ivelina,

 

thanks for your reply. I tried the clean reinstall and also resetting my Car‘s infotainment System. It looks it only happens with CarPlay - yesterday I left it in the Stuck Screen and After 2-3 Minutes it loaded. Maybe this has

to do with the ongoing Investigation about the iOS performance issues…

If you think what's happening with your app sounds similar to the ongoing issue here then I recommend keeping an eye on the thread for any upcoming updates and hopefully a fix.
