My Question or Issue

Whenever I cast my personalized playlist like “Chill mix” to a nest audio, an old version of the playlist keeps getting queued up. I’ve noticed the issue a few weeks ago, but can’t recall when it started appearing. Repro steps: cast to nest audio, check the playing queue. The queue while connected to the nest audio contains songs that are not currently in the playlist, but we’re in the playlist a while ago.

Hey there @AvidListener1,

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community.

This is very odd indeed. It's most likely happening because when you play a song/ playlist from Spotify on your phone, for example, the request is sent directly through Spotify. On Nest speakers and other home Google home devices, the request is sent through Google, which might be causing this inconsistency.

Can you let us know if this is happening only with this specific playlist?

Looking forward to your reply.

I just tried to reproduce the issue and it appears to be fixed. Maybe it’s
some sort of a caching issue in that case because I may have tried to cast
my customized playlist only a few hours after Spotify updated it for that
week. I’ll reach back out it the issue persists, thanks!
