My Question or Issue

I have issues connecting my phone to Spotify with the Hitster app. It was connected but constantly would tell me that I need to reconnect. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn’t.

While troubleshooting I removed it from “Managed Apps” on the Spotify website. When I tried to reconnect, Hitster opens Spotify and I get an “X” then it closes. It will not bring up the screen letting me approve Hitster to access Spotify. It seems the API changed and has caused this issue. I believe this issue started with newer versions of Spotify. 

My husband has no issue with his Android phone.

In case your husband is using the same third party app on his phone, there might be an issue with the Hitster app on your device or with your account on their end. It may also be related to the Hitster service itself, so your best course of action would be to reach out to their support folks first 🙂

 

You can come back to us after discussing it with them and seeing if there's an issue on their end to let us know how it's gone and to see if there's anything else we can try.
