Couldn’t Open Link

My Question or Issue:

A few days ago, I clicked on my liked songs and it came up with an error message “Couldn’t Open Link”. It only pops up for my liked songs list. However, when I click ANY playlist, it automatically starts playing it rather than having me choose a song from it. I’ve seen posts for these problems in the past and everybody suggests doing a clean reset. Well, I’ve done a clean reset 5 times and updated my phone to the latest version and it still isn’t fixed. Any help is much appreciated!

Could you try using the Sign Out Everywhere from your Spotify's account page?

 

Also, what's your iOS and Spotify exact versions?

So I've got the same/similar issue where I can't open my liked songs and get the "Couldn't Open Link" message. I've tried logging out everywhere, deleting and reinstalling the app, and any other suggestions I'm seeing and nothing seems to work.

 

Any Help?

Do you have another spare account that you can try this on the same device?

Also, if you have another device with similar specs, try signing with this account and see if the same issue occurs there.

Unfortunately I only have the 1 premium account, using a non-premium won't allow me to open the playlist anyway will it?

I'm logged in on my laptop which works completely fine but when using my phone I'm having the issue, I'm using an IPhone SE.

I've just logged in on a family members Samsung S10 and it works perfectly fine so looks like the issue is my device.

I’m having the same problem— I searched for a song and clicked it to add it to a playlist and got the “couldn’t open link” message. I’m on an iPod touch 6, running 12.4.8; i’ve got a free account on v. 8.5.75.1149 of Spotify. It all works fine on my computer. I have deleted the cache, deleted the app and reinstalled, signed out and back in, powered the iPod off and back on, etc. I don’t have another account I can try on this iPod. What else can I do?

@Padonkadonk could you let us know if your issue still persists and if it does, we'll need to know your exact Spotify and OS versions?

 

@KLuiz could you give this a shot using a different network, for example creating a hot spot on your phone and using that?

 

It's also a good idea to send us a screenshot of what you see so that we'd be able to take a closer look.
