DJ Mispronouncing Japanese Characters

Solved!

DJ Mispronouncing Japanese Characters

I listen to a lot of Jpop and when the DJ pronounces the names of songs or artists in Japanese, sometimes it skips them (which is fine) but sometimes it says this type of gibberish or thing I don't understand... "en ite ran" over and over again. Sometimes it will say the thing that sounds like "en ite ran" like 10-20 times. It takes a very long time to say it over and over again and I just want to hear my song. Can you make it so it either skips Japanese characters all the time or make it so it pronounces them correctly? Thank you.

Hi there @user-removed,

Thanks for the info.

We've passed this on to the right teams. We've received word that the developer folks are working on sorting this issue out, but we don't have any more official info at this time.

If you do come across more mispronounced song/ album or artist names please send us a link here and we'll pass this on.

Cheers.

Hey @user-removed,

Thank you for reporting this!
It would definitely help us make the AI DJ function better 🙌🏼

Could we ask you to send us the links of any songs that are affected in the way you described?

Many thanks in advance!

Awesome! Thank you so much! Here's one song affected this way: https://open.spotify.com/track/5g8adh2982RbEMZT5s2MJH?si=y8726jP-TzGazFuICwws9A

Let me know if you need any more. It's basically almost any song where either the title of the song or the group name is spelled with Japanese characters instead of romanji.

Alright, it seems to be pronouncing the Japanese characters correctly now. Thank you!

Thought this issue was completely fixed but it just now did it (pronounced it "en ite ran en ite ran en ite ran") for this song:

EDIT: this song too:

EDIT: and this one

Hey, I noticed that DJ pronounces Japanese names written in Romanji/Roman characters wrong.
examples are;
ATARASHII GAKKO-新しい学校
“at-ah-rash-eh ga-ko” -DJ pro.
Fuji Kaze-藤井風
“Fuji Kay-z” -DJ pro.

Getting this fixed would be amazing! Japanese is a phonetic language and so Japanese names like Kaze/風/かぜ are pronounced differently than English words.

I noticed the AI DJ also used incorrect pronouns for the artist G Flip when introducing their music.
