My Question or Issue
Hello,
I recently upgraded to an iPhone 12 Pro running IOS 14.2.1. I normally control an iPad on my wifi network that is connected to my stereo from both my iPhone and my Apple Watch. In the Spotify App Setting Devices Menu, I have the Devices Lock Screen (Control your music from the lock screen when listening on another device) turned on. The control works fine when I'm playing music on my iPhone just not when it's playing on another device. My Apple Watch can still control the iPad. I've restarted my phone and reinstalled the Spotify app.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
I have an iPhone XR and an iPad 8 both with iOS 14.3 with the most recent version of Spotify I have still been having this issue and cannot control the music playing from my iPad using the Lock Screen on my iPhone. I have made sure in the settings that Spotify has access to the network on both devices. Devices Lock Screen is turned on on both devices as well. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and a hard reboot of both devices. I have tried all recommended troubleshooting measures on this forum post as well. Please help! This is one of my most used features on Spotify!

Thanks for posting.
You can reach the menu in question by tapping this symbol at the bottom of the screen. If that doesn't fix things, it's also a good idea to make sure that the option Spotify Connect in background is enabled/ green in your setting menu.
